Climb – Routesetting, Operations and Training

Your wall is complete and it’s time for the fun part to begin, but maintaining safety is also paramount. To create a challenging yet safe experience, HPCW’s professional and qualified routesetters are available for the initial routesetting, as well as follow-on refresher services, either on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis, to ensure your wall inspires even the most hard-core climbers.

A climbing wall is a major investment, and HPCW offers the necessary ongoing support to protect and maintain it throughout the lifecycle of the wall. We can perform inspections on the wall and its components, including engineering inspections of the structure. Regular inspections are scheduled based on wall usage, as well as manufacturer and insurance requirements.  Our staff is comprised of Professional Engineers, and ACCT Level 2 Professional  Inspectors.

In addition to offering regular inspections, HPCW provides Risk Management and Operations Consultation to ensure safe operations. Our Climbing Wall Association (CWA) and Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) certified staff can provide training for your personnel – both prior to startup and as an ongoing service. We can also provide an Operations and Safety Procedures Manual that is customized to your facility by industry-certified professionals.
